Their latest move involves creating trial virtual power plants in California and Gothenburg, Sweden, using the V2G capability of the upcoming Polestar 3 SUV. Google promises to show more data for Smart Fan Control

It appears Google is rolling out some extensive upgrades to their Home app. They are adding support for three new traits: rotation, fan speed, and multi sensor (sensor states). Expanded device controls will show temperature, light, motion, and humidity. This update brings fresh possibilities, from optimising energy usage to delivering a more personalised cooling experience.

CSA's Aliro Standard: A Game-Changer for Smart Locks and Digital Security

Two of the largest lock manufacturers have stepped together with Apple, Samsung, Google, and others to launch Aliro; a groundbreaking, Matter-powered new standard for smart locks. Its goal is a global communication protocol and common credentialing system that will allow any authorized smartphone or smartwatch to open any smart lock at home, the office, the gym, or elsewhere, regardless of who made the phone or the lock.
