A Look Back At 2023
2023 was a BIG year for us. There were a lot of ups, some downs, but most importantly, a lot was done to mantain our mission: to Make Smart Homes Smarter. Let’s take a trip down memory lane together:
January: Introduction of the Exclusive Distributor program
We started the year with the introduction of the 1Home Exclusive Distributor program which proved to be a great success in expanding our reach and strengthening our position worldwide. So far, we have exclusivities signed in 12 countries, and each month we are joined by more partners.
February: ISE2023
The 1Home season of 2023 smart technology fairs started in Barcelona - on the ISE2023 event.
March: We join the CSA + Dr. Smart Home Comes to life
March was a special month for us - we have officially joined the Connected Standards Alliance, which was a big step towards our future goals with the Matter standard.
Oh, and we of course cannot forget the introduction of dr. Smart Home - it’s safe to say he became the darling of the Smart Home content world ;) We promise he’ll be back for more tips in 2024!
April: First Edition of 1Home Digest
At 1Home, we love to stay on top of all the smart home news, trends, and releases. We decided to start sharing it with you, and thus 1Home Digest has been born - a weekly rundown of all-things-smart homes. Stay tuned every week!

May: We visit Smart Home Expo in New Delhi
The Smart Home Expo in New Delhi, India was a first for us. We are looking forward to visiting again in 2024 - as well as participating in more fairs with our own show floors ;)
June: The biggest launch in company history: 1Home Server for KNX presale starts!
After more than 2 years in development, it was time for the biggest announcement in 1Home history: 1Home Server was ready to preorder!
With exciting features like Matter to KNX, more smart assistant integrations, new integrator dashboard with secure remote access, and user management, and the upcoming Advanced Logic Module, the 1Home Server is a new benchmark for what an All-In-One KNX server is capable of.
July: Start of the “We asked 100 Integrators” Survey series
If anyone knows KNX smart homes, it’s the people building them! We wanted to take a deeper insight into their process, and share the findings with the smart home community.
August: Launch of the 1Home Server for Loxone
After hundred of requests we had no other choice but to announce the launch of the second version of 1Home Server - 1Home Server for LOXONE! We are looking forward to making smart homes smarter for LOXONE users in the near future!
September: Breaking the 1000 subscribers mark on YouTube
It might not sound like a lot to some, but this was a big achievement for us! We are proud of our steadily growing family of YouTube subscribers.
October: Shipping of the 1Home Server for KNX starts + Satja appointed as CEO
The time has come! Despite the unwelcome delays, we pushed through and started delivering the 1Home Servers to the anticipative customers. And Satja was appointed as the captain of the 1Home mothership - we are excited for the goals he is pointing us towards!
November: Most of Server for KNX preorders are shipped
What a journey! While we are still ironing out some minor “wrinkles”, we are ecstatic to be seeing the Server in the wild, and getting great feedback from happy customers!
